What is Clean List?

Clean List removes people you're already connected to on LinkedIn from your outreach prospect list. Sending a connection request to someone you're already connected with wastes your daily send limit and looks unprofessional. This tool prevents that automatically.

How to use it

  1. 1Export your prospect list from Apollo (or any tool) as a CSV. It needs at minimum: first name, last name, title, company.
  2. 2Export your LinkedIn connections from LinkedIn → Settings → Data Privacy → Get a copy of your data → Connections. LinkedIn will email you the file within a few minutes.
  3. 3Upload both files here and click Clean List.
  4. 4Review the results — you'll see how many contacts were removed (already connected) and how many are ready to send.
  5. 5Download the cleaned file.

After cleaning your list

  1. 1Go to the Generator and upload the cleaned CSV file.
  2. 2Name your campaign and confirm — all prospects are saved to that campaign.
  3. 3Use Sample & Split to assign prospects to cohorts A and B (or Single if using Generic).
  4. 4Select your messaging variant (Hook, Angle, Tone, or Generic), then generate messages.
  5. 5Send up to 25 connection requests per day — the app opens LinkedIn for each one and copies the message to your clipboard.
